Very dedicated to her job, she finds it boring but she has no interest in handing over the Bazaar to anyone else
Really does not want to be like her father, Jan
She’s just as stubborn as him
Distant and detached, she doesn’t like getting attached to anyone
Simple and to the point. No frills, no ruffles, just keep things as minimal as possible. Cecilia’s never liked dealing with super businessy beings, anyways.
Her close attendants are clones of her
Has very thick skin, you won’t offend her that easily
But that also means that she occasionally makes very insensitive jokes
Cecilia, you’re the owner of the largest criminal group in Myosotis, you can’t just act like you’re better than Jan
She possesses a powerful weapon created by the gods that’s been missing for years. She stole it from Jan when she ran away from her old home
The weapon is alive, by the way. It tells Cecilia secrets it wasn’t supposed to ever say
She doesn’t want to be puppeted around and treated like a servant anymore
But she may have taken it too far. You don’t just start a black market to one up your father
Backstory
Cecilia was the result of Lyra being too reckless and knocking up Jan
Jan didn’t particularly want Cecilia, but he worked with what he had. What he had was tons of clones he needed to manage, so he made Cecilia manage them and his weapon store
Cecilia felt like a puppet, being forced to do things against her will
So she ran away from home, taking one of the most valuable things Jan had: A weapon created by the gods he discovered years ago
Said weapon was alive, and ended up becoming quite attached to Cecilia, telling her secrets
Cecilia wanted to be better than Jan and make him mad, so she created her own black market for selling anything, not just weapon!
That black market, the Midnight Bazaar, got a lot more popular then Cecilia expected it to be
Perhaps too popular
It became much more popular than Jan’s dubious weapon shop
Cecilia didn’t want to become this popular, but she might as well work with the cards she was dealt
After years of running the Midnight Bazaar, Cecilia stopped wanting to do it, but there’s nobody she trusts enough to run it, and she can’t just up and leave! There are beings that depend on her!
She can’t just give up all that power!
Other Information
Cecilia is a very important character to me, from around 2019 to 2020 she was a vent character I had used when I had left the countryhumans fandom out of frustration regarding people being harassed for being in it. She's just my funny little dress up doll now who experiences the horrors
I've made loads of uhh. variations? of her. She was my favorite little dress up doll for a while
Avoids romance when possible, she finds the idea of her being romantic partners with someone apalling. (just like me fr!!!)
In her spare time, she studies the history of Hereafter and it's various districts. If she wasn't involved with the Midnight Bazaar, then she would've been a mighty fine historian!
Cecilia's clones are essentially just automata, and lack any sort of free will to do anything without her guidance.
