Breezy and calm
Prefers doing their own thing rather than conform to what the other gods are doing
Kind of an airhead. Really forgetful
Does things on a whim, or because they feel like it
Gets bored easily
Doesn’t deal with mortals much, they find mortals to be hard to reason with
- This is a good thing because they’re super out of touch with mortals. They don’t quite understand how mortals work
Shockingly nice for a god
Can make you feel whatever emotion they want you to feel
- They don’t use this ability often because it tends to piss off whoever they used it on afterwards
An artist, they refer to their worlds not as worlds, but as art pieces
- Their art pieces are made to be pretty and pleasing first, and habitable second
- The other gods aren’t huge fans of this approach (except for Lullaby, but that’s because she’s the literal god of dreams)
Loves flowers, their worlds and art pieces usually have tons of them

Backstory

God of emotion, part of the second batch of gods after Tragedy and Echo
They were involved with the death of Rhapsody, being the main reason for her death as she had started to injure mortal bystanders with her pranks and was starting to become more and more sinister and evil
Prose doesn’t think about the entire situation much. They never really liked Rhapsody anyways
Preferred making mortal worlds that were impractical and inhabitable to most mortals for the art
One of their very few practical worlds was Myosotis, a district of Hereafter to ~~dump~~ home forgotten mortals who couldn’t be sent elsewhere
They worked on it for a while and forgot about it
In the meantime, they continued making their art pieces and worlds
One day they got a nice message telling them some jackass was trying to mess up one of their worlds they forgot about
Oh no its Aquila
She’s causing problems
Prose took Aquila into custody for messing things up and didn’t think about the entire situation that much
Until they learned that oh god Aquila was a chimera. How the fuck did Aquila become a god.

I previously used the name Sonnet for Prose. Maybe I'll reuse it for something some day?
Mostly butterfly, they just like fluttering around :) On the rare occasion they eat whatever mortals eat, they go for something sweet
Based off of literature. They have to use the most flowery language to describe everything, it makes them sound obnoxiously pretentiuous
- Occasionally referred to as Purple Prose because of their style of speech and method of naming things
Associated with air and wind, and the arts
Prefers flying to walking, it's why they don't wear shoes

Echo: He takes himself too seriously. Echo should really chill out a little, yknow?
Tragedy: Now THAT'S a god who knows how it's done! He knows how to party and make truely beautiful pieces!
Forte: Prose wonders why they aren't allowed in her workspace. Then they remember the copious amounts of times they've bugged her. It's not their fault Forte's such a workaholic!
