Whitney Rusthook

• Warm and slow paced, doesn’t take things too quickly
• Travels any chance he gets, he likes seeing new things

• You won’t see him for a whole day because he’s busy working on a story he’s writing and then he’ll be spotted at some amusement park that popped up yesterday. He's really good at locking in
• Doesn’t use his ability much, it’s both dangerous to him and others, and it makes him feel horrible afterwards
• Nervous around sharp objects, he freaks out if something sharp is pointed toward him
• Zones out and forgets things a lot
  • Kinda weird and loopy…sometimes he’ll chime in with some sort of non-sequitur phrase and then say he has no idea why he said that
  • He’s present most of the time, but other times he’s just completely out of it (it thankfully doesn’t happen as much as it used to). It’s a known side effect of resurrection
• he died, was brought back a few years after he died and really wishes he was brought back wrong so he wouldn’t know that he died
• He’d rather not talk about the whole dying thing, in fact it’s best if you just don’t bring up why he looks Like That

Backstory

ruh roh another spoiler backstory!!!

He was part of the rusthook family and was having an overall wonderful time until the guy who was feeding them money to go exploring went "i need your money lol", whitney and his dad were like "bro, no" and their funny benefactor (and whitney's grandfather) went "haha okay ill send some guys to go get the money" and sent some fine fellows with guns to get the money. anyways those fellows did some convincing that was actually shooting at people and whitney went "lol block this overhead", cursed them and zephyr and then died

he was dead for a few years until stace brought him back to life as one last job before quitting necromancy and now he has to deal with the consequences of being dead for a few years + his fun new physical state since necromancy is not perfect!!!

he works as a writer now, and tries his best not to think about the whole thing but why did zephyr do it? he would never just decide to hurt everyone...or would he?

Other Information

• Whitney's last name was the result of me asking "what last name should i give to a whimsical pirate character?" in the artfight discord. If the person who suggested Rusthook is reading this then thanks
• Owns a sword! He's actually quite good at using it, but he doesn't carry it around as it's really heavy
• has a really nice tan

• Has a distant, glassy look in his eyes, like the stare of a dead person
• The fangs came in after he was brought back
• Really into amusement parks and kitchy pirate stuff. if an amusement park shows up in Myosotis one day (the gods like providing enrichment!) then he's usually the first one there
